The Federal Gigabit Bureau is a competence center of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV). The central tasks of the Gigabit Bureau are to provide information, networking and advice on the nationwide expansion of digital infrastructures. Specific measures include, for example, reports on current developments in the areas of 5G, mobile communications and digital applications, as well as information and workshops.
